Work Experience Bod

Had a great day today preping for the festival with our fantasic work experience young person, Amy. Was good to offer a real life experience to Amy who seems just as excited about the festival as we are. We are hoping for sun next Sunday as have promised Amy some lovely pictures for her Princes Trust folder.  Have a look at some of the things Amy helped us make, she is the chief goggle and butterfly maker and also updated the blog. Next week she is helping us with Art Boot Camp and prep for our performance at Hazard, Manchester on the 21st July.

Inspiration

As the festival is based around the Venice festivals we are looking across the seas to Sunny venice for our inspiration. Here are few of the pics we have been looking at. If you have any more venice pics feel free to send them to bethbarlow@bethbarlow.com and we will add them to the blog and our inspiration.

Planning

 Early Days Planning

Our Creative fingers are itching and we have asked the ladies at my knitting group to star collecting milk bottles. My knitting ladies love to collect things for my mad cap ideas and always come up with the goods. We will be working over the next few weeks to craft them into wonderful demo models which visitors to the workshop can take inspiration from. Here's a picture of me doing all the boring bits (flattening some plastic) so that people can just get on a be creative on the day.
